Maurits Blok (1975) is a Managing Partner at Ketchum Pleon Amsterdam.

He is a specialist in corporate communications, international media relations and integrated Public Relations / Public Affairs campaigns. P&L responsible for international clients in the technology sector and financial services industry in Pleon’s Amsterdam office. With more than ten years of experience, he is a specialist in corporate communications and integrated Public Relations / Public Affairs campaigns.

A European to the core, Maurits leads international accounts that cover more than 20 EMEA-countries. He developed a specialism in media relations in emerging markets. Maurits has extensive experience working for a broad range of clients and is one of the media trainers in the agency. He had a key role in the profiling of Pleon that was awarded European Consultancy of the Year in 2008 by the Holmes Group.

With a background in journalism, Maurits is one of the Media trainers at KP Amsterdam.

Current and former clients include: Citibank, The Dow Chemical Company, IBM, Imation, ING Real Estate, Interbrand, Lenovo, Maxeda, Ministery of Justice, Philips, RIM / BlackBerry, Terberg Leasing and the University of Delft.
