USER DATA 

Beeckestijn Business School respects the privacy of its clients and their data. You retain all rights to the information you provide to us. User data provided to Beeckestijn Business School is stored in a personalised and secure location. We will not sell, rent out or use your data for purposes other than those stated in this privacy statement. 

If you wish to subscribe to our newsletter, we will use your name and email address to send you the newsletter. You can opt out of receiving our newsletter by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the email message. 

DATA COLLECTION 

Beeckestijn Business School collects the email addresses, company information and certain personal information (name, company name, email address, telephone number) of those who interact with us, such as sending an email or filling in a form on the website. We may request the following personal information from you through website forms and store and process it:

  • Company name 
  • Telephone number 
  • Date of birth* 
  • Address* 
  • Position* 
  • Previous education* 
  • Invoicing email address* 
  • Invoicing address* 

* These details are only requested when you register for a course and are partly optional. 

We collect information relating to which pages visitors access or visit, through which we collect, use and process the following personal information: 

  • IP-address 
  • Geo-location 
  • Browser details 

STORAGE TIME 

We will keep your information as long as there is any interaction between you or your organisation and Beeckestijn Business School. However, if there has been no interaction in any way for a subsequent period of 3 years, we will destroy your personal information, with the exception of information that is necessary to comply with our legal obligations, settle disputes and enforce our agreements.  

Once you have applied to us and submitted your CV, we will delete your details no later than 4 weeks after the end of the application process. If we wish to keep your details for a longer period of time, e.g. for a future vacancy, we will ask you for your consent. 

ACCESS, MODIFICATION AND DELETION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION 

As described in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have a number of rights which we will enforce upon your request free of charge and within 30 days. Please send your request to privacy@beeckestijn.org using the email address that is known to us. You may exercise the following rights with regard to your personal data: 

  • Right of access 
    You can submit a request to us to view the personal data we have about you.  

  • Right to rectify 
    You can submit a request to us to amend the personal data we have about you. 

  • Right to data erasure (“Right to be forgotten”)             
    You can submit a request to us to remove the personal data we have about you.  

  • Right to limit processing 
    You can submit a request to us to limit the duration of processing of the personal data we have about you.  

  • Right to object 
    You can object to the use and processing of your personal data.  

  • Withdrawal of consent 
    If you have given Beeckestijn Business School permission to use your personal data for marketing purposes, you can revoke this permission at any time. In all our email messages you will find the option to revoke your permission at the bottom of the message. You do not have to submit any objections. 

Refusal of requests of an unreasonable nature 

When Beeckestijn Business School receives requests relating to personal information, we ask individual users to identify themselves and the information to which access must be granted, which must be corrected or deleted, before such requests are met.
